Dale Caldwell 

B. 1958, Newcastle, NSW.

Dale is a Sydney-based abstract visual artist working in ink and pastel and occasionally sculpture. 

She has studied at the National Art School in Sydney, however she is largely self-directed, working in an intuitive, organic manner on the page. Dale’s work is an expression of her internal landscape without use of any observational point or external stimuli.

She loves to use vibrant colour and draws inspiration from the Fauvist and Outsider Art movements.

Dale has exhibited in Sydney and Newcastle in recent years. 

Dale sings with 6 piece Sydney super band Close to Forever.
